We went to this Pub last Sunday because they were nearby and showing the league cup final... and boy am I glad we did! Like the great bloggers we are, we were too focused on the screen and completely forgot to take any pictures of our food 😶‍🌫️. Although that just gives us an excuse to go back again, so I can't complain too much!

For this blog, I'm only going to focus on my food which was a vegetarian sausage and mash. This pub staple was gorgeous! It came swimming in an onion gravy and was topped with crispy onions too 😋. (If you aren't too keen on onions I'd definitely avoid it as it wasn't exactly a subtle oniony flavour). There's not much to say about this dish other than it tasted absolutely divine and was definitely the comfort food I needed over the weekend! Though it was a tad on the pricey side at £13, I would definitely order it again if I were to go back to the Railway Tavern for another sports match.

I also got a glass of their house red wine to wash my meal down with and that was great! Though you can't ever go wrong with a red wine 🍷!

The Railway Tavern is definitely a really nice pub to go to to watch a match as it was packed full of football fans creating a nice, lively atmosphere.

Megan's - Old Town Hall (Richmond) This is very clearly our first post because we forgot to take any pictures of our mains and didn't include the actual food in our BeReal 😶.  E Pellici - Bethnal Green This eastend cafe is a staple for many. It's been frequented by British celebrities, the Kray twins, and now me. And I think I can understand why so many people love to eat there!  My fiance has been there a few times already and has even bought some merch (!), so it's fair to say that he already LOVES the cafe. He recommended the pastas to me, but as I had heard Pellici's breakfast was voted the best in London, I was adamant on ordering the "Have the Lot Veggie". My veggie breakfast came with a sausage, fried egg, fried bread, grilled tomato, mushrooms, bubble and squeak, two hash browns, chips, and some beans (*... And breathe*) 🤯. A hell of a lot!
