Sougtani - Pinner

Sougtani - Pinner Another Lebanese meal... What a surprise 🫢. This was my second time coming to Sougtani and it has definitely solidified its place in my roster of staple middle eastern restaurants. The restaurant has a floral theme and there is a beautiful floral display coming down from the ceiling right at the front of the restaurant. We ordered the mixed vegetarian mezze and added the spinach pastries, feta pastries, and extra falafels as a little top up to ensure the meal was filling for all 4 of us (3 properly hungry adults and 1 who was snacking on the bits that took his fancy).  This meal was actually divine! Properly lush 🤤🩷. The mixed mezze came with falafels, moutabel, hummus, fattoush, batata harara, and flatbread. These were all such gorgeous dishes! The crispy falafel was absolutely bursting with flavour but honestly it was all incredible! My only complaint is that the batata harara was slightly too spicy for me 🌶️ (though my spice tolerance is pretty lo...

Honest Burgers - London Bridge

Honest Burgers - London Bridge  Okay, I'll be honest... on my first bite I did immediately jump to the conclusion that these were the best burgers I have ever had. Realistically, this was probably a bit of a reach and may have been the hunger talking 😶‍🌫️. However, with that being said this burger was a pretty solid dinner that I would be partial to ordering again.  I went with a friend and though there was a bit of a queue forming, we didn't have to wait too long for a table (about 15-20 minutes) and the staff were fairly efficient with seating everyone as quickly as possible.  We both ordered the corn fritter burgers with their rosemary salted fries as an accompaniment. These were a breath of fresh air in the world of vegetarian burgers and I really enjoyed how different they were. They were beautifully crispy and flavoursome - even once they had gone cold ❄️! Additionally, their rosemary salted fries were flavoured perfectly to ensure they left a nice taste in ...

E Pellici - Bethnal Green

E Pellici - Bethnal Green This eastend cafe is a staple for many. It's been frequented by British celebrities, the Kray twins, and now me. And I think I can understand why so many people love to eat there!  My fiance has been there a few times already and has even bought some merch (!), so it's fair to say that he already LOVES the cafe. He recommended the pastas to me, but as I had heard Pellici's breakfast was voted the best in London, I was adamant on ordering the "Have the Lot Veggie". My veggie breakfast came with a sausage, fried egg, fried bread, grilled tomato, mushrooms, bubble and squeak, two hash browns, chips, and some beans (*... And breathe*) 🤯. A hell of a lot! The regular veggie breakfast came with all of the items bar the chips and hash browns. Since I hadn't had any breakfast in the morning, I was convinced that the larger meal was for me! I managed to finish it in the end (which was a feet in and off itself) but I don't think I could e...
